Monument Wheelworks

We take our name from the oldest and most prestigious one-day races in our sport: Milan-San Remo, the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and the Giro di Lombardia. The Monuments evoke the passion, grit, suffering, and pure joy of cycling, and stand for many as the greatest accomplishments in the professional cyclist's palmarès.

Such victories are earned by an elite few, but we also celebrate the personal Monuments achieved by cyclists every day: your first century, a trip down the coast, taking a KOM, riding A-Line, commuting to work. These feats that perhaps seemed unreachable are made possible through that same joy and determination.

Monument Wheelworks takes that spirit and puts it into every wheelset we build.  Precision tools, tested components, and careful methodology are essential to the process, but ultimately each wheel is a reflection of your passion, tailored to help you achieve your goals.

Monument Wheelworks is led by founder Andrew Jorgensen, who has over a decade of experience in the cycling industry. Andrew has built and serviced bicycles and wheels for professional and amateur racers, Paris-Brest-Paris participants, coast-to-coast touring cyclists, and steadfast daily commuters. Andrew was lead mechanic and wheelbuilder at Velosmith Bicycle Studio in Chicago and Cascade Bicycle Studio in Seattle - both featured in Bicycling Magazine’s 2015 ‘29 Bike Shops You Must Visit.’ His work has also been featured in Velo News magazine.
